Wonderland...

I'm in one of those moods where i feel like i'm falling down a rabbit hole. maybe it's just that it's foggy outside, and i don't have classes or finals. i'm in this strange stasis, waiting for who-knows-what to happen.

I took this picture at the highest point on campus, Founders Hall. It's my favorite building on campus, and it's square with a quartyard in the middle that always seems to make me think of Alice in Wonderland. This is looking into the quartyard, through one of the open windows in the hall (the halls along the quartyard are lined with windows), and i put it on photoshop and edited it a bunch.

I just realized that my favorite childhood books were 'alice and wonderland' (and 'through the looking glass'), the oz series, and the narnia series. they all have the theme of leaving an ordinary world and going into this weird fantasy world. makes perfect sense, now that i think of it, i was always trying to create my own little world. i still am in fact, being an artist.

sorry, random self-reflective moment.Posted by Hello

That's really cool. Too bad this world is so bad that people have to create their own false utopias in order be content.
