Aleisha got her nose pierced!!

Did i spell pierced right? i think so...damn ei/ie. Anyways, that's right, i got it done! we numbed my nose with an ice cube for a minute, then my friend ruby took an earring (the kind used to pierce people's ears with the guns) and pushed it through the side of my nostril. for those of you wondering...yes, it was painful. quite, actually...did you know there are two layers to go through in your nostril? i didn't, but i do now...the first is probably the layer of skin, and it's not so bad, but then you have the cartilage, and that took friggen forever. and then i was a little panicky afterwards, especially when Ruby was putting alcohol on the piercing, and i felt a little faint. i'm fine now though (now being 20 mins later).

PS: you all must listen to PINBACK! i heard them in the cafeteria a few days ago, and fell in love with them. i bought a cd, and was given the music off the other two cds by friends. I may have a favorite band :)

what is your favorite animal?

toucan sam's accent should be portugeese, not british. i mean, he IS from the amazon. psh....how is everyone? enjoying the abundance of the white stuff over yonder? mine is just wet and clear (but nearly as cold as yours). i can't slead on rain :( i suppose i could go skimboarding in the rain, but i would die, and i don't really feel like doing that yet. How 'bout a conversation starter!!!!! *ahem*...What is your favorite animal and why? My favorite animal is the sea otter because it's cute and lives in the ocean. sea otters are very smart (they use rocks as tools).

You all seem to be enjoying yourselves during this break. Bully! That's just bully! I, however, am just blah. Sure I occasionally go out with friends, but until I have a passport and a wad o Euro, I will feel like a goose who's winter flight will never come; a tire wothout its tread; an eye without sight; a limp leaf, lacking that sudden gust of wind to lift my spirits. I'm so effing emo right now it's sick. Sorry. I'm just so restless here! I need to at least go back to school. Hey! i saw The Life Aquatic the other day! I LOVED IT!!!!!!!
